Grounded Growth Counseling offers three ways to meet for therapy
Virtually
Meet with me from the comfort of your own space anywhere in Florida. Virtual sessions provide flexibility while still allowing for meaningful connection and growth. Grounded Growth is not in-network with insurers, sessions are at a $125 private pay rate (sliding scale spots available). Ask your therapist about how you can use your out-of-network benefits and get a Superbill to submit to your insurer.
90-Minute Session
If you'd like more time to slow down, process, and explore what's on your mind, 90-minute sessions may be available. Please reach out or discuss this option during your consultation to learn more about availability. There is an additional $50 private pay fee associated with extended sessions.
Walk & Talk
Walk & Talk sessions are offered at different locations from DeBary to Altamonte Springs in Florida. These sessions combine the benefits of therapy, movement, and time in nature. Walk & Talk Therapy is offered as a private-pay service at $150 per 60-minute session (sliding scale spots available).
Anxiety & Stress
Anxiety can show up in many ways, racing thoughts, constant worry, difficulty relaxing, trouble sleeping, or feeling overwhelmed by everyday responsibilities. Even when life looks manageable on the outside, your mind may feel like it never fully slows down.
In therapy, we work together to understand what is driving your stress and develop practical tools to help you feel calmer, more grounded, and more in control. Our work may include learning how to regulate anxious thoughts, manage physical stress responses, and build healthier patterns that support emotional balance.
This is a space where you can pause, breathe, and learn how to respond to life with greater clarity and confidence rather than constant pressure.
Common areas we may explore:
Overthinking and worry
Burnout and emotional exhaustion
Panic symptoms
Perfectionism
Work or academic stress
Difficulty relaxing or “turning off” your mind
Life Transitions
Change, even positive change, can feel disorienting. New seasons of life often bring uncertainty, self-doubt, or questions about identity and direction. You may find yourself wondering who you are now or what comes next.
Therapy offers support during these in-between moments. Together, we create space to process emotions, clarify values, and navigate transitions with intention rather than overwhelm.
Whether you are starting something new, letting go of something familiar, or redefining your path, therapy can help you move forward feeling more grounded and aligned with yourself.
Common transitions clients seek support for:
Career or academic changes
Moving or relocation
Graduation or entering adulthood
Relationship beginnings or endings
Identity exploration
Personal growth and self-discovery
Self-Esteem & Relationships
The way we see ourselves often influences the way we show up in our relationships. When self-esteem is low, it can be difficult to set boundaries, communicate needs, trust your own judgment, or feel secure in your connections with others. This can lead to people-pleasing, seeking validation from others, relationship anxiety, and feeling disconnected from your authentic self.
Individual therapy can help you strengthen your sense of self-worth, better understand relationship patterns, improve communication skills, and develop healthier boundaries. Rather than focusing on blame, we work toward greater self-awareness, emotional insight, and the confidence to build relationships that align with your values and needs.
The goal is not perfection in relationships or within yourself, but greater self-confidence, authenticity, and more meaningful connections with others.
Common concerns include:
Low self-esteem and self-doubt
Difficulty recognizing your own worth
People-pleasing patterns
Boundary setting
Communication challenges
Conflict or recurring arguments
Dating and relationship anxiety
Seeking validation from others
Building healthier emotional connections
Developing confidence in relationships and daily life
What
Your
Therapy
Fee
Covers
Therapy is an investment in your mental and emotional well-being, and the fee reflects much more than the time spent together in session. As a licensed therapist, I bring specialized education, professional training, and ongoing learning to provide thoughtful, high-quality care. The session fee also supports the many behind-the-scenes responsibilities required to maintain a professional practice and ensure that you receive personalized, attentive support.
Your session fee helps cover:
Master's-level education, licensure, and continuing education
Time spent preparing for sessions and completing clinical documentation
HIPAA-compliant technology, telehealth platforms, and electronic records
Professional liability insurance and licensing fees
Consultation, training, and specialized professional development
Scheduling, billing, and payment processing services
Website, marketing, and general business operating expenses
The ability to provide individualized care without insurance restrictions or limitations
* Insurance can help make therapy more accessible, but mental health benefits often come with limitations. Coverage varies by plan and may include restrictions on session length, frequency, diagnoses, treatment approaches, or provider availability. Understanding your specific benefits can sometimes be confusing, which is why I encourage clients to contact their insurance provider directly with any coverage questions. *
